Irene’s Vegetable Lumpiang Togue

I am fortunate to inherit the legacy of heirloom dishes from my Mom’s family. This time we are rolling out the most sought after dish of my Lola Irene which is the Vegetable Lumpiang Togue. So I call this dish “Irene’s Vegetable Lumpiang Togue”.
Only the freshest of vegetables are julienned in Irene’s Lumpia which include carrots, kamote (sweet potato), Baguio beans, water chestnut, bamboo shoots and other veggies and of course Togue. The vegetable mixture is made flavourful with Irene’s secret blend of spices and sauces which is then mixed with simmered lean ground beef and pork. Best served deep fried with a dipping sauce of vinegar and soy sauce and spices.
